Not an Expense
What Can Personal Training Do For
You?
Approximately, 10 years ago Personal Trainers
were utilized mostly by elite athletes, celebrities
and high-powered business people. In the last
few years there has been a big change in the field
and in the minds of the public. Personal Training
has gone mainstream and people of all ages are
giving training a try!
Why Is A Personal Trainer Appropriate?
Having a Personal Trainer provides individuals
with a workout designed to suit their needs. Below
are 3 reasons to begin training with a Personal
Trainer:
1. MOTIVATION
2. BALANCED TRAINING SESSIONS
3. VARIETY IN PROGRAM
How Do Training Sessions Work?
After the first initial Free Consultation is booked
with a trainer, goals, interests, proper nutrition
and limitations (if any) are reviewed between
the client and trainer. If training appears suitable
for the client, the first session is then booked.
Session 1: Fitness Assessment
-
Fitness assessment - determining client's
current fitness level
-
Measurements- lean weight and body fat
-
Nutritional Consultation- daily food intake
reviewed and healthy alternatives suggested
-
Workouts Sessions- pre-booked on set day(s)
and time(s)
Session 2: Workout Schedule
-
Fitness Prescription-based on the client’s
assessment and personal goals
-
Training – reviewing proper technique,
identify correct form and monitoring workout
intensity
Session 3 or Additional Sessions: Training
Sessions Continue
How Many Times Is Training Suggested?
At first, 1 to 3 sessions per week is recommended.
Upon improvement, frequency may be reduced to
once a week, then once per month. Often, a veteran
client will only see the trainer every 4 to 6
weeks to have their fitness program re-evaluated.
