Philosophy
You “gotta” want it!
I believe in achieving dreams, challenging one's individual limits, training hard and becoming the best that you can be. When you make a commitment and focus your mind on any
endeavour, anything is possible. Fitness can make you feel alive and take you beyond your wildest dreams. Anybody, given the proper guidance, motivation and support, can aspire and
soar to new heights! I couldn't ask for a better career, to know that I've played a small part,
directly or indirectly, in helping someone become more healthy and fit is about as rewarding
as it gets. |
I’ve had a long career in Rep Hockey, touring across North America in my youth,
and early teen years. Drafted to the Detroit Red Wings at age 15, and playing hard and
strong until an injury took me out of the game. At a young age my dad always said to get used to losing son, as you’re going to lose more than you win but always do the best you can.
I strive to make this a philosophy for all my clients, always try your best and never give up. Let
me push you!
Client Base
My strengths include training individuals on their own or in groups. I treat each training session as an “experience”, a personal journey. Laughter to me is one of the best parts of a session. We
all know the workout has to get done, some enjoy it and some not so much. However, I strive to
make my clients laugh and work hard at the same time. I thoroughly enjoy the kids, teams and
elite athletes as well. These dynamite kids I work with keep me motivated and alive with their
ability to reach new heights. No matter what group I am training, my experience and education
allows me to design a program suitable for all abilities and goals.

Philosphy
Shanti, Shanti, Shanti
I believe in living life to the fullest, and part of this is making good choices.
After having my three children, I began Suffering from chronic back pain, and this led me to make some changes, first change being my level of activity. I was on a
mission to heal my back as well as to become a better role model to my three
young children. That was the moment I began to change the way I viewed life.
I would walk more, began to eat healthier, dance as often as I could, (still do)
and laugh a lot more too! I noticed the positive effects on my health as well as with
my family. Soon afterwards, I was introduced to yoga and, for me, this was one of
those aha moments. I found the Yin to my Yang. I now have a softer workout
to compliment my hard workouts. This has instilled in me the feeling of balance. |
I am now peacefully grounded on my journey to complete well being of
my spirit/mind/body.
Experience and Plans for the Future
Brigitte had been practicing Hatha style Yoga for over 10 years,
and has recently completed a 200 hour teacher training certification, that complies
with the Yoga Alliance. Her style will embrace flowing movements that are strong
and empowering to a more gentle and relaxing asana practice, always with a focus
on breathing and healthy alignment. She hopes to inspire students to find their
own paths in yoga learning.

Philosophy
I have always had a lot of energy and tried many different sports and activities. It wasn’t until I found Kickboxing that my “passion” was ignited. When I train I feel so strong and empowered, like nothing can stop me. With each training session I strive to do my best and set new goals for myself. Working with others and pushing them to their limits gives me the best feeling of all. My focus is to continue my training into extreme martial arts and one day go to the Olympics. Having fun is also a priority and important to me. I am committed to volleyball both in the gym and in the outdoor courts and love hockey. Continuing to participate in Hockey Opportunity Camp and one day attaining the role of a Camp Counsellor would be an awesome accomplishment for me. In the meantime, I will continue to assist and lead others through their fitness journey in Kickboxing and “punch” for the fun of it! |
