“Let me start by saying I am a 35 year single mom who has struggled with weight my whole life. I have excuse after excuse about not having time to exercise. My journey started back in June when my son and I were walking in the park and came across a boot camp run by Teejan. I said I wanna go ask about this. My 8 year son said Mommy go see if you don’t I will for you. So it began there. Never missed a class. Dedicated myself to showing up twice a week. After 10 weeks, I was down 9.5 inches. BUT I wanted more. Teejan and Lisa saw my dedication and told me about the Vemma Bode Program. September 1st I started it. I’m following the “APP” and go to Revive every Saturday for the cross training class. I also, along with another boot camper, do our own little workouts twice a week. As of Nov 8th, I am down a total of 19.25 inches just from being on the Bode program and exercising! My journey is not done. I am demented to archive more. “I have been overweight all my life.  Last July, through my sister, I was introduced to Teejan Gribbons from Revive Fitness and the Bode Program.  From that time, I have not looked back. To date I am down 53 lbs and getting into the best shape of my life. It is amazing how it is the little things that I am most proud of with losing weight;  The first time my Provincial Hockey ring fit again.  The first time that I did a proper burpee.  The first time I could sprint without stopping or carry my laundry up and down the stairs without being out of breath. The Bode Program is one of the best programs I have been on as it promotes healthy eating without it being difficult to follow.  There is no need for scales, pills or processed food.  It is all about using the food you can buy at the grocery store with the Bode Protein Shakes and Burns mixed in. My life has changed so much since being on the Bode Program and training with Teejan at Revive Fitness.  I suffered from constant knee pain which limited me on certain exercises.  As a result of training and eating healthy, my knees do not hold me back.  I can now do squats and lunges.  Further, my eyesight has improved.  My optometrist attributes the improvement in my eyesight to my healthy program. It is truly amazing. As part of my lifestyle change, I train one on one with Teejan Gribbons.  Teejan is an excellent trainer.  Workouts are never the same, he thinks outside the box and shows you proper technique so that you are getting the most out of the exercise without hurting yourself.  I have learned so much.  Thank you Teejan for training and pushing me beyond my wildest dreams, introducing me to the Bode Program and for being a great motivator. “I have been a Revive member for many years. I am somewhat of a regular and by regular I mean I would come once a week, sometimes twice a week.  I know I was not achieving any great results with such a minimal workout even though outside of the gym I am very active as well. I never imagined myself personal training as I felt I just didn’t need it so to speak. Due to many tailbone injuries from my childhood, my lower back became my main area of concern.  I know I needed someone to keep me accountable and motivated to exercise, but at the same time, it had to be fun. Thank you Teejan and the entire Revive Team for motivating me to push past my limits to get results. Teejan is all about correct form and technique and building your foundation first… sort of like building your home from the ground up. Fascia Stretch Therapy

“Following a serious car accident twenty years ago, I have tried everything: physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage, yoga, and surgery. I cannot believe the difference since Teejan started stretching me a year-and-a-half ago. I have now competed in four half marathons and one 15 km race. I’ve taken up swimming and paddle-boarding and look forward to trying rock-climbing. Not only do I feel better, but knowing that Teejan is there to help my body adjust to new activities, I feel confident trying new things.
